VEX Competition Programming
VRC - Programming & Competition Templates
Robots participating in the VEX Robotics Competition are required to utilize special "competition
templates" for their programs, they are also required to utilize the most recent version of the
VEX Master Code. These required components are available as part of "Appendix D" in the VEX
Robotics Competition Game Manual. Be sure to read Appendix D - Programming Guide, which is
available for download here.

Metal and Lexan Kit for Official Competitions
The official VEX Robotics Competition Field is setup on a foam surface, with a sheet-metal and lexan perimeter frame. Inside this perimeter, game-specific elements can be added.
Low Cost Alternative VEX Field
Free plans to build a field with PVC for around $100
For those on a tight budget we have provided an Low Cost Perimeter Alternative Design. We do not provide any parts for this low cost alternative, but we have provided Assembly Instruction, BOM, and a 3D Model that can be viewed by anyone (no special software needed to view).
