VEXplorer

VEXplorer is the next generation of an important DIY robotics design system. Over 300 parts with many pre-assembled modules which includes: a spycam that can broadcast to your TV over distances of up to 150 ft.; an enhanced robot arm with a powerful gripper that can pick up a filled soda can; and all-terrain tires to tackle most surfaces. VEXplorer also includes 4 motor, 24 gears, various coated heavy metal parts, cables, tools, screws, nuts and more.

VEXplorer Wrist Kit

The VEXplorer Wrist Kit will add additional "wrist" joint to the basic VEXplorer robot. By integrating the wrist joint into the VEXplorer arm, the VEXplorer will gain significant dexterity. Note: The VB-1 Motor is NOT compatible with the VEX Microcontroller.

VEXplorer Tank Tread Kit

Tank treads distribute a vehicle's weight more evenly than wheels, allowing a robot to maneuver in loose sand, or on spongy surfaces which would otherwise cause the robot to sink. Treads will also keep the robot from high-centering; this will allow a robot to climb over obstacles, or move over rough terrain. The VEXplorer Tank Tread Kit will allow you to take your VEXplorer to places it could never go before.

VEX Color Camera Kit

See through your robot's eyes with the wireless VEX Color Camera Kit. Mount the Camera on your robot and connect the Receiver to any television to see and hear from your robot's point-of-view via the 2.4 GHz camera link. Provides a color picture, and audio necessary for a spy-bot mission. Can be used with VexRed or VexBlue controllers. This is the same camera included in the VEX Robotics Vexplorer. More Info

Flashlight Kit

VEX-RC Ext. Cable 4pk

With the 2 wire VEX-RC Extension Cables, you will have no problem wiring the VEX-RC VB-1 Motors or other accessories back to the VRC-RX unit. Each pack contains 4 each of the 6 inch VEX-RC Extension Cables. Note: for VEXplorer.

VEX Claw Kit

With the VEX Robotics Claw Kit, your robot can easily grab and manipulate various objects. Whether picking up a 20 oz soda-can, or grasping objects as delicate as a feather, this claw is easily up to the task. This claw is compatible with all VEX Mechanical parts. Integrate it into your robot to reach out and touch someone. Motor required and not included. More Info

VEX-RC TX & RX Kit

With the VEX-RC TX & RX Kit, you have the foundation for a new robot. Use this kit along with motion and structure components to create a remote-control robot. This Transmitter & Receiver pair is part of the VEX-RC "blue" product line. Requires batteries (not included). The VRC Receiver comes programmed, no Programming Kit required. More Info

VEX-RC VB-1 Motors

With the VEX-RC VB-1 Motors, you can accomplish advanced tasks and create new mechanisms. Integrate the (VexBlue) VB-1 Motors into your robot's drive train and climb where you could not go before. The VB-1 Motor comes with optional clutch assemblies. This clutch mounts on top of the VB-1 Motor, protecting the Motor from any sudden "shock loads". The VexBlue Motor is designed to mount in any VEX structural component, and contains mounting hardware in two different lengths. The VB-1 Motor is compatible with the VEX-RC (VEX Blue) Receiver. It can also be used with the VEX Microcontroller, but requires a separate motor speed controller. More Info

VEXplorer Wheel Kit

This kit contains two of the wheels custom designed for the VEXplorer. These high traction wheels will roll smoothly across almost any surface. They're not just for drive-trains though, try using them as rollers for robot mechanisms, or on the end of an arm to help your robot climb things. More Info

VEXplorer Antenna

 A replacement Antenna for the VEXplorer Transmitter only. If the Antenna can be unscrewed from the Transmitter, the bottom male threaded post mount must be removed before the new Antenna is screwed into the Transmitter. Otherwise replace the Antenna with the male threaded post mount attached to the bottom of the Antenna, this will require removing the top half of the Transmitter.
